If you have a very tigh trip time, this tour is for you.
You will spot birds in two major areas: Andasibe/Périnet/Mantandia in the east and Ampijoroa/Ankarafantsika/Mahajanga in the west.
You will be observing the rainforest birds to the dry forest and baobab areas of the western part, including some marshes and other wetlands.
This tour is feasible the whole year-round with more or less species depending on the seasons.
Other extensions and options are available for adding few more destinations. The last option is to cover the most area possible by a charter flight.

ITINERARY OUTLINE
Early morning depart. Birding at Tsarasoatra Lake, a Ramsar Site. Drive eastwards to Andasibe/Périnet. Birding on the way. On arrival, birding at Analamazaotra National Park. Night walk at VOIMMA Reserve.
Early morning depart to Iaroka Reserve, a nearby primary rainforest managed by the local community. Whole day birding.
Early morning depart to Maromizaha Reserve. Half day birding and heading back to Antananarivo.
Full day drive to Ampijoroa/Ankarafantsika Reserve.
Birding immersion at Ankarantsika forest and savannah as well as in the Lake Ravelobe. Morning and afternoon hikes.
Early depart to Mahajanga.
Fly back to Antananarivo.
Fly homewards.
End of the tours.
